Felicia "Fela" Taliaferro, founder of A Seat on the Mat, offers a warm and holistic approach to health and well-being through yoga therapy, consulting, and curating transformative experiences.
With a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy, Fela provides personalized support as a certified yoga therapist, utilizing evidence-based techniques, intake, and assessment to help clients reconnect with themselves physically, emotionally, and mentally.
She also develops websites and fosters community partnerships aimed at collective liberation, empowering individuals and organizations to create impactful, mission-driven digital presences.
As the creator of Sol Sessions —the rooftop yoga party—and other well-being activations, Fela creates spaces where community, healing, and personal growth intersect, offering unique experiences that blend yoga, breathwork, and holistic practices for deeper self-connection an empowerment.
