This trip is for those who are ready to let the ocean hold them, to learn (or re-learn) how to swim with care, and to do it all surrounded by a soft, affirming community. With trauma-informed instruction from Oshun Swim School and six days in a private beachfront villa, you’ll ease into healing, one gentle stroke at a time.

Expect slow mornings by the sea, late-night kayak glows, meals shared with intention, and joy that ripples out from every saltwater laugh. This is about more than swimming, it’s about reclaiming your relationship with water, with your body, and with rest.

This trip was everything that I knew I needed and more. The cabins: the pods were spacious enough to sleep 2 not so thin people. I was pleased to see an accessible bathroom & shower. The fridge could have been larger given the number of people in the cabin. I never noticed housekeeping, but the cabins were clean. The grounds: Pure bliss! I slept in the hammock by the creek twice. It was beautiful, peaceful, well kept. The trails were nicely marked and easily navigated. The greenhouse was my favorite building. The hot and warm jacuzzis were a win. Lisa, Stephanie and team put so much thought and effort into each aspect of the trip and it showed. The workshop facilitators were knowledgeable and engaging.

The Slippery While Wet Pool Party was my first event and it was a vibe! The energy was just good all around. I felt like a regular! I had an amazing experience traveling for the Summer Glamping. I didn't know exactly what to expect since I was a late comer, but it put away any doubts I had about going and traveling with women I didn't know. Every workshop, glow party, and just the people in general were the right people to be there. Am I an outdoorsy person? - nope, did I do outdoorsy things? - yes. Did I dance in the rain with no shoes, and sit by the fire pits and talk, drink and have a good time? - yes. Did I build connections and community? Absolutely. A Journey to Remember Serving as co-leader for this unforgettable adventure through Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka was truly an honor. From racing go-karts through Shibuya to dressing up as ninjas and samurai and learning how to sword fight; every day brought something new….laughter, connection, and a reminder of why travel changes us. Iceland was a wonderful trip! The excursions were full of adventure and beautiful landscapes. Iceland is a country of gorgeous sunrises, sunsets, and of course the Northern lights. The whale-watching boat trip was special for me! I enjoyed staying in the hotel which was conveniently located within walking distance to retail shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. This trip was filled with delicious food, good drinks, and an amazing community of black queer women! I am already looking forward to going back to Iceland and experiencing the 22 hours of daylight! Thank you to Lisa and her team for making this trip a lifelong memory!

This trip was absolutely amazing! The food and lodging were top tier, and the community and conversations were even better! Lisa is remarkably organized and intentional in curating engaging and exciting experiences for QWOC across the globe! We had a boat party, went ATV riding, and I even kinda bungee jumped! The Annual Winter Trip in Deep Creek was an absolute blast! Between the beautiful winter scenery, cozy cabin hangouts, and nonstop laughter, it was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. Iceland was incredible! It was the right mix of planned activities and choosing your own adventure. The hotel was in a perfect location near restaurants and other amenities, so it was a great time.

This trip was a dream come true for me. Being able to explore multiple parts of Japan and make meaningful connections is more than I could ever imagine. I didn't want to leave. I can't wait to travel again with Lesbifriends Travels!!

Amazing opportunity. Meeting new people and connecting was overall my goal. This community felt like family. Would do it over and over again.

I very much enjoyed myself and all the unique, awesome women that were on the trip. The organizers, volunteers and campsite staff all did amazingly well with organizing and running the getaway. I recommend this travel group and any of their events.

Beautiful destination, lots of culture and history shared, delicious foods eaten, and fun travel mates. I would do it again.

I truly love every trip I take with LesbiFriends. There’s nothing like being surrounded by a big group of wholesome, beautiful queer folks. Already excited for the next adventure.

I went to the Dominican Tree House Adventure Retreat in 2023 with Lesbifriends, and had a wonderful time. It was full of adventure and great vibes from everyone that attended. I made life long friends and memories. Nothing beats feeling safe on a group trip with fellow LGBT travelers.

I had a great time. It was wonderful. The food was delicious, I did not mind the wait.... may you please ask Falen to send you the vanilla cake recipe for me? It was delicious; I want to make it with my daughter.
