Why Join Us?
In a world that often leaves us feeling unseen, Hike & Heal is a space where we can show up fully and be heard. Happening during DC’s Black Pride Weekend, this experience offers an intentional pause from the noise, the crowds, and the overstimulation—a softer, slower space to breathe and be. This isn’t just a walk in the woods—it’s a chance to build community and join a safe, affirming environment where you can release what’s heavy. You’ll connect with like-minded Black queer folks, share in collective healing, and take home something priceless: deeper connections and a reminder that you are never alone.
After the hike, we’ll gather under the trees for a deeply restorative sound healing session led by Ralinda, a gifted healer who uses crystal singing bowls, breathwork, and guided meditation to help you release, reset, and recharge.
During a weekend that often demands our energy, this is your moment to reclaim it. Sound healing offers more than calm—it supports emotional clarity, nervous system balance, and the kind of inner quiet we rarely make time for. Come ground yourself in joy, stillness, and community.
