Your adventure kicks off in Johannesburg, where you'll explore the powerful legacy of apartheid, followed by an intimate welcome dinner at Sanctuary Mandela and once the home of Madiba himself. We’ll head to Manguzi, where your stay at a sustainable lodge includes beach days, cultural exchange, and immersive community experiences. We’ll wrap the trip in Hluhluwe with a safari that puts you face to face with South Africa’s stunning wildlife.

  • This was my first trip with Lesbifriends, and ironically, the destination came to me by chance. But it was precisely what I needed during this season! I usually travel solo or with familiar companions, but I decided to take a chance on group travel without knowing anyone. Oh my gosh! I’m so glad I did! Nicaragua is absolutely breathtaking, and I thoroughly enjoyed all the intentional activities we engaged in. Journaling, yoga, cacao ceremonies, massages, and more—I would definitely return to this destination again! Now, for the best part!
